Homemade Cheesy Potato Bake
One night, my husband's cousin created this dish. I wanted to try making it at home too, and I decided to include mushrooms in the recipe.
Delicious Homemade Cheesy Potato Bake Recipe with Mushrooms
Ingredients:
- Potatoes (choose your favorite type)
- Grated Cheese (I used sharp cheddar)
- Bacon Bits
- 1 Large Onion
- Seasoning (I used Soul Food Seasoning)
- Chives (optional)
- Mushrooms (optional)
Cooking Instructions:
Step 1: Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2: Slice the potatoes and onions thinly.
Step 3: Combine the potatoes, onions, mushrooms, and seasoning in a pan. Stir well to evenly spread the seasoning. Add a little water to the pan.
Step 4: Place the pan in the oven for 30 minutes or until the potatoes become soft.
Step 5: Once the potatoes are done, take the pan out of the oven and add the bacon bits and cheese.
Step 6: Bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted.
Step 7: Remove from the oven. Optionally, you can add chives.
